Hi, first of all I'm new here, having only purchased my first Mazda last Thursday! Seems liek a great forum and very informative. I'm in the UK (not sure how many other members are and how this effects my problem) and I bought a 2 litre 626 sport (2001 registered). The car is absoloutly lovely apart from the strange warnings Im getting all the time on the dash.

The ABS warning light, the handbrake warning light and the TCS OFF warning light are all on constantly. The car passed it's MOT test and brakes/stops fine (very responsive brakes) and the handbrake stays on when its parked. There doesnt seem to be a handl;ing or traction problem (although I couldnt say for sure) so I'm not sure if there is a problem with the brakes or traction. The TCS Button seems to have no effect when I press it, on or off.

I'm taking it back to the dealers tomorrow and they are assuring me they will get the problem fixed, but I'd like to know more for my piece of mind what the problem may be and what to look out for/reqwuest they look at when I take the car back.

Are these common faults? Should I be worried? Could it just be a sensor/electrical fault? Are there any other things I should look out for?

Other than this im very very pleased withthe car. To date the best car I've ever owned was a 2001 BMW 525I SE, and to be honest I think this Mazda gives it a very close run ! The engine certainly seems a lot more responsive and just a s smooth!
