I don't know what it is man. They're steel wheels. I've beat, banged, hammered. I've even put a jack under the tire and tried to use the cars weight to break the rim loose from the hub. Bear in mind, all the lug nuts are off. I'm comin up empty.

That"s a tough one. I"m sure you have tried spraying some rust-buster typeproducts on it too?

no, haven't tired that yet. I'll have my dad pick some rust-buster type jazz up. I'd also like to thank for replying to post. Another thing, is there anything else that you could add that could aid and contribute to my project....I"m tryin to drop his transmission, cuz his front seal gave up. Right now, I have the air box off, starter, and just a few odds and ends disconnected. Is there anything else that I need to know about doing this?

Whats up man. got the wheel off. Now, I'm down to the VSS and the transmission fluid cooler(?) But, I'm having trouble with the VSS. Is there like a gel or something to that effect holding that bolt in? Or is there something about removing that I need to know. I look forward to hearing from ya.

"Don"t know what you mean by VSS? Vehicle Speed Sensor? That would be primarily on a car equipped w/ABS brakes and located atall 4wheels, pne per wheel.

The Vehicle Speed Sensor on a mazda 626 with the I4 auto specifically....its located behind the transmission right under the transimission/motor support.........and.....its kickin my ***. *sigh*.......I was under impression for the past couple days that it was something you had to remove the bolt from to loosen the VSS. Now, I've learned that its a clip type.....and its not wanting to dissconnect for anything. *sigh*....any suggestions. Dude, I don't think you have any idea how much you really helping me. Please keep these post coming.

PS-On my dads car, there's only one VSS with 2 wires. One per wheel for the front.

Hey whats up? Got the CV's removed, now I'm removing the bolts from the trans/motor. I have about 4 or 5 bolts out from the top of the assembly(or whats visible from the top of the trans)...what other bolts have I missed or need to look for to remove the transmission from the block?
