323 93/94 occasionally engine dies when decelerating
Hi all
I've a 93./94 323 - v. relieable, but every now and then usually when I'm coming up to junctions the engine will completely die.
It is only occasionally, but always after a 10 minute run and when I'm slowing down.
Has anyone any ideas, as it is well dangerous: steering locks up, have to clutch down and restart while traveling.
Aside from that the car is very reliable.

Hey join, have u checked the hosing from the air box to the throttle body?? Leaks along the hose will give a false air reading on the Air Flow Meter, and cause the enginestall. Another possibility isripped or unconnected vacuum hoses leading to the three way valve. U got a bg6 or bg8 engine rite??
