Default 626 won't start!!! help!!!!

Alrighty, this is gonna be a fun one. I've got a 626, 93. I changed the fuel filter and O2 sensor yesterday. Everything was done correctly, put it all back together, and went to drive it. I got it into second gear and the car dies... haven't started since. I figured out I'm not getting spark, which baffles me because what i did had nothing to do with that. Here's the kicker in all of it. whoever had the car before ran a thin red wire out of a fuse in the fuse box. when i move it, i can hear a click and the air bag light goes on and off on the instrument panel. If it's off, the car won't start. so the wire has to be in a good position. i tried that once, and that was the case. car started right up. but now it's not a factor. i'm so confused!!![:@] please help!!!

It just cranks. The tach doesn't move. I've been told it might be the ingnition module? I don't know, this car has soooo many problems. I just changed the fuel filter and o2 sensor to try to get the stupid thing to idle right. If I adjust the timing, it revs too high all the time, but when I get that part right, then it idles under like 300, just enough to keep it from dying. All the seals are cracked so it's horribly insulated. When I run the heat, it takes forever to heat up. When it finally does, the windows fog up instantly. Bah! []
