Default 929 Fuel pressure 'PULSATION DAMPER'

1994 MAZDA 929
I am located in Phoenix, AZ, and the only place I can locate this part FUELINJECTION PRESSURE'PULSATION DAMPER' is at the dealer....which as yall know they shaft the price right up your *** ($170). Anyone have a suggestion where to find one of these salvaged or used....the best place to look? There is not a ONE inArizona....or that I can find. I dont mind waiting for shipping, as long as I can at least cut this price in half...hopefully more.

By the way....talk about a tight, hard to access location to even see what the hell I was leaking from...let alone changing......what a friggin joke.

Any and all replies are greatly appreciated.

You could try Maz-Max in Houston. They sell used Mazda parts. It would probably be safe to buy a used one as that is uncommon to leak.

I will hit them up immediately. Interesting that you say thats this is an uncommon leak......let me tell you how I discovered this: I bought this car in Late November of last year and it ran wonderfully.....but ever since I bought it i always hinted a slight gas smell. Well it started getting worse until one day my car would start, but would die within seconds......come to find out I had gas dripping out the bottom. That was the beginning of me trying to nail down this leak...started with replacing what I thought was the cause....the fuel line that is connected to the pressure regurlator.....well....replaced and still leaked. Then I figured it was the pressure regulator...nope....well.....come to find out it was leaking fuel out the top of the damper where the plastic cylinder is.....and again I must state...WHAT A BITCH TO ACCESS THIS **** ALONG WITH WORKING ON IT....have to almost stradle the engine.
AGAIN THANKS FOR THE REPLY...ILL LET YOU KNOW HOW MY SEARCH GOES.

Godbless.

Try searching Car-part.com it is a salvage yard search engine for parts.

Its main function is to help smooth engine idle and increase driver comfort, if you can't find one I would just find some fuel or AN fittings that will thread in eliminate it.
