I just picked up a 1994 626 LX with 2.0 I4, 5sp. So far I love most of what the car has to offer except when I go above 60mph I get a wicked loud noise from somewhere on the passenger side. The closest thing I can equate it to is when you blow over the top of a pop bottle, or it sounds like someone is sitting beside me playing the flute. It's very loud the stereo isn't even able to drown it out. Has anyone had a similar problem? What did you do to fix it? The car only has less than 50,000 miles on it and the weather stripping looks like new. Please help me figure it out, I have to drive this thing for almost 8 hours a week on the highway.

 

start by looking at the mirror housing and the window seals. if not there then try and looking at door gaps and lower door seals. if your not getting any water then it souldn't be coming from the main door seal do all the seals match from passenger to drivers side doors and windows? you may be missing one . also some cars have a foam insert inside the front quarter to help with wind noise (I'm not sure if these do or not)
