ball joint on 323F SPORT(protege5) BJ chassis
Hi to everyone.I've just registered.Decided to help someone with the info I am typing.
I have MAZDA 323F SPORT 2.0 16V(UK version) as I am in UK (PROTEGE 5 USA).Had some problems with it!!!
When I was looking for posts how to change my ball joints couldn't find anything saying I could. The people only talk about control arm replacement as the ball joint is part of it and pressed in.
Well I've managed to change the ball joints only.Got the from japparts.co.uk for £7.50 each, took the arms off (3 hrs for an amateur) and went to press them out(1 min). After, pressed the new ones in (1 min) and went to fit them!Saved myslef a fortune for new arms!!!
It's really as simple as that and just to let you know that there are no curclips an the joints as the the surround is kinda toothed and sits tight with no problems!!!
Before that drop links were done(easy job),cleaned the TB and also seafoamed it(good stuff)
I am open to everyone who needs help or advice! Thanks!
