Default burning oil worse after valve cover replacement

i replaced the valve cover gasket and the seals on my 626. Now it's burning oil WORSE than before and smokes up the whole place, and I can't find any leaks. It takes a couple minutes of driving before the car finally stops smoking. Also my check engine light is OFF and I can't figure out what i did wrong
any ideas of why this is happening

Did you seal the required areas with RTV?

What about your PCV? Pull it and check that it rattles. Did you plug in back in the the correct sense?

if it is burning oil but stops after driving a bit it is most likely valve seals
