Default BW '96 rear hub nut torque

Does anyone know the rear hub nut torque for '96 323 BW?
The Haynes manual says 176 - 235 Nm (130 - 173 lbf ft), but I really doubt that. In my car the rear bearings are conical and are tightened with the hub nut. When the hub nut and brake drum is taken off, the bearing just drops in your hand. That kind of torque sounds a bit extreme.

While there is a torque spec i find it unreliable. It is 18.1-21.7 ft lbs though.

Thanks. About 20 lbf ft sounds much more like it.
