Hi,

I've a 1999 Mazda 323. Just yesterday I came across this problem with the back door behind the driver. In short my central locking doesn't work for that door but instead makes a noise. When I turn the key in either the driver's door or the front passenger's door three doors either lock or unlock. A whirring noise comes out of the 'bad' back passenger door and this door doesn't unlock/lock. The noise is quite irritating and a bit loud. I can manually press up or down the lock on this door as normal and it remains in this way whenever I now turn the key.

Is there a solution to this problem? As it stands it looks to me as if I'm going to have to bring this car to the mechanic who will say something along the lines of having to take the door off and apart with a lot of hours and money involved.

Bad lock actuator on that door and the interior door panel does have to come off. You could disconnect it if you want to save money but still need to remove that interior door panel.

 

my 93 mazda 626 wont start. fuel in the fuel rack is 40psi . spark plugs fire when crank. when fuel is sprayed in the intake where butterflp is, engine will run. i have power in white red wire at the injector power side. what can be the problem?

 

The injectors have power all the time and the PCM grounds it to inject fuel.
