Default Dash Board Lights

1998, model 626:
I'm not looking for paradise by the dash board lights, just some lights in general. I'm down to the gas gage being lite. Itried to feel around under the dash board to feel for the connection but no luck. Is there a trick or do you have to remove the instrument panel to change the bulbs? I did not see any screws in the general panel area to remove so HELP!!!!

Default RE: Dash Board Lights

I had the same thing happen on my 1998 626; one bulb after the other would die. There's some fair diagrams at the AutoZone web site to show how to disassemble enough of the dash to get at all of the lights. They had diagrams for the 323 and millenia, I think, but the 626 is close. You'll need torx screwdrivers, and a wide blade to pop out some of the spring clips. I did it without breaking anything, so it can't be that hard.
