First Time - 1992 Mazda 323
Hi all, first timer here. Yesterday my girlfriend and I looked at a 1992 323 with only 30,000 miles on it. The car is in amazing shape but wasn't taken care of by it's elderly owner (regular lube job, etc). When we test drove it, we noticed that after completing a right turn... when the steering wheel was coming back to the middle, we heard a rattling on the left hand side of the car.
I know it's hard to understand over email, but does anyone have an idea what this might be? We really liked the car, but wanted to get some sense of what we'd be getting into repair wise.
Thanks!

Hi, I would say welcome to forum but this is my first post too
It sounds like CV joint needs to be replacing, try to do circles in say parking lot and see if it rattles while you accelerate, and is quiet while you're not. If so, that menas its cv joint.
I just changed it in my car, I got joint off ebay for 21 pounds and paid another 40 to fit it (in UK) but if you have time/tools/knowledge you can do it yourself. Hope this helps.
