MY FUEL GAUGE WORKS TO A LIMIT, BUT IT WILL ONLY REGISTER DOWN TO BETWEEN 1/4 AND EMPTY, THEN IT STARTS TO COUGH AND SOMETIMES RUN OUT, I GET NO WARNING ON LOW FUEL AND I CANNOT FIND THE FUSE FOR IT, ANY BODY SHED ANY LIGHT.

Default RE: fuel warning light

Disconnect your battery then unscrew your gas cap.Pull the rear seat bottom out of the car. You will see a small plate with phillips screws holding it on. Remove it then you will see the fuel pump and 2 hoses. Remove Disconnect the hoses and the screws holding the pump in. Clean around it first, dirt collects around them. Pull the pump out and inspect the sending unit bolted onto the fuel pump. The small round cylinder at the bottom of the sending unit is the low fuel sensor.
