Gasoline leak (fuel tank)

Gasoline leak (fuel tank)
1995 626LX 4cyl Automatic with approx 180,000 miles. This car has lived in Alabama, so rust isn't a problem. Recently, I noticed a puddle of gasoline under the car (back-seat area) and, upon inspection, saw that the fuel is dripping off the forward edge of the fuel tank (the edge of the tank which is closest to the front bumber). Looking from under the car, it appears all visible fuel connections into and from the tank are dry and tight. The leak appears to be coming from the top of the tank, running down the front side, and dripping off the bottom. Looks like the tank will be hard to pull, and I don't see an access door under the seat that will let me inspect the top of the tank without pulling it. Does any forum member have any ideas to offer before I undertake pulling the tank?

RE: Gasoline leak (fuel tank)
Does this leak occur even after sitting overnight or is it only when engine is running and/or shortly thereafter. This might help to isolate down to being a pump or rollover valve gasket that would not require any pressure in the lines to leak. If only really leaks when running then possible a fuel pump connection or line. Fuel tank level might also be playing a role. ie might leak at full tank but not at all at 1/2 tank.
