Default Mazda 323F 2.0 Sport

Right currently driving a Mondeo Zetec but have been offered a swap for a 2L Mazda 323F and wanted to know your thoughts on what I can expect.

the only advisories on the last MOT were play in the anti roll bar ball joints.

any advice good or bad welcome.

Default MOT ball joints

Hi mate, seen your post on here.I am currently driving 323F SPORt.Lovely motor.the ball joints, drop links and anti -roll bar bushes are common problem.I've done them on mine (check my post).
Regarding other common problems be aware of EML(engine management light) on dash, coz it's going to be expensive as could be coil pack,pre-cat,lambda,even bad timing or MAF.Be sure you get some service records(cambelt, feed belts x2),also check the clutch.
Apart from that great car, torque up to the red line. Not as fast for 2.0 16V 131BHP,but is fun to drive and sport suspension is the best I've ever had(ex owner of a couple of VR6,GTI,1.8T modded),considering that is standard.
The Mondeo is comfortable family car,but if I have to choose I'd go for Mazda.
Hope I helped!
