Have a cylinder leak-down test performed to determine if you have an issue with the rings; if not then have the head rebuilt otherwise have the motor rebuilt or a used motor put in.

While those numbers are all pretty good and close enough to each other to be considered normal, they don't tell you what you need to know. A cylinder leak-down test will tell you if you have a ring issue or not. If you don't then your valve guides are suspect and your head should probably be rebuilt.

if you want a quick cheap way to check your piston rings;
get the engine to normal operating temperature
all spark plugs out
test all 4 and write it down (count about 5-6 turns of the crank)
then put a little bit of oil in each cylinder
test all 4 again and let us know what you have

Cheers =]

#1 cylinder was 160 and #2 cylinder was 160 and #3 cylinder was 160 and #4 cylinder was 165 dry test. The wet test there was no change.

Well if done correct that test just ruled the rings out.
