well, first off, HELLO everyone, i just registered.
i need some help, i got a 1996 626 with the 2.0l 4cyl. its my daily driver.
CEL on for P0443, Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit. i did a search here and found no results. i also did the whole google thing, and read some people replace the evap canister. i have NO clue where it is. if anyone can help me, i would appreciate it, i have car inspection comming up next month, and dont really want to spend a whole lot of money.
thanks! (and, yes, my car is purple, not the original!)

Hey, thanks to the whole 69 people who viewed my post and did NOTHING! Not even a sorry, i don't know ither, or a link to the mazda.com website, NOTHING! I thought this was a good place to go and ask a question and see if anyone had the same or similar problem full of people that are willing to help! Maybe if i asked what muffler makes my car sound more like a racer, I would get a reply from at least one person! I mean come on, correct me if i am wrong, this is a forum about technical questions with fellow owners that are willing to help, not ignore! I did fix my problem, and if your having the same, don't ask me, i am not telling.

Dont think there are many boy racers in here mate , but i havent seen loads of mechanics either since i've been on. I had a 95 version of your car about 10 years ago but never had to change an evap filter, in fact it was so reliable i seldom changed anything bar oil and filters. You are one of those luck owners that have a have a haynes manual available for your car maybe a worthwhile investment (wish there was one for the 5), keep an eye on ebay. The manual covers the probe and MX6 as well - which can be useful if your looking for engine parts. Glad u fixed it though and keep posting because somebody may well know the answer to your next problem (if you ever have one with that engine)
