Default Radiator fan continuously running

I have a 2001 626 that has developed a radiator fan issue. It started by intermittently not shutting off when the engine had cooled. I would turn the engine on and then back off and that would take care of it. Recently, it has just continued to run regardless of what I do and I have to unplug the connector within the engine compartment.
Where should I start? I am not used to looking in such a cramped engine compartment and don't know where to look for the components.

It was a condensor fan relay. $5.00 part to replace.

Hello

I am having the exact same problem described by the previous poster. I have a 2000 626.

The previous poster seems to have solved his problem by replacing the 'condenser relay' - however I do not know how to find this relay. In my engine compartment fuse box I have several relays that I list below. Is one of these the 'condenser relay' or should I be looking somewhere else?

H/L Relay
Horn Relay
EGI Main Relay
Air Con Relay
TNS Relay
Circuit Relay

Thanks in advance!

I'm a Protege guy, but the electrics have a lot in common. The engine cooling and air conditioning are interconnected so if the engine needs full cooling, it will shut off the A/C compressor, but leave the fans running to cool things down. Its a bit of a guess, but I think it's the Air Con Relay you should go for. (You won't do any harm by yanking it and running the car).
