Replacement Plastic Rivets

Replacement Plastic Rivets
For the past few years the tan plastic two-piece rivets that hold things together on my 323 have fallen out. Something happens to plastic over time, it get's brittle, cracks, breaks, and then things fall apart.
The plastic panel on the inside of the hatch is held on by over 10 of these rivets and over half had fallen out. Went to the autoparts store and found something that worked. The replacement rivets slide in the hole easy enough. Pushing in the locking pin is impossible by hand. Was ready to give up when I tried pushing the plastic pin in with a wooden board. It takes some force but then it slides in and clicks into place. It's beautiful, looks real nice too. And the best part was a pack of 15 rivets cost $2.50 USD.
