Should I buy 2002 Mazda 626 LX V6 with 142,500 miles?
Hello everyone!
I am new to this forum and had a question:
I totaled my car and had a 2010 Mazda rental which I really liked so I started looking into getting a Mazda. I don't want to spend more than 7 or 8 thousand and found this 2002 Mazda LX V6 that looks really nice. The interior was sick: leather seats, power everything (seats, windows, locks, etc.) looked clean, sunroof and even had a really good sounding Boss sound system. The exterior was a nice dark green color, didn't have any major dents or scratched. Everything looked really cool and I test drove it for 10 or so minutes and it felt fine as well. The catch though is that it has 142,500 miles and I'm not sure how I feel about getting a car with that many miles. The price the dealership was asking was $3900 so it seemed like a good price too.
What do you guys think?
I need a car that will last but how much longer do you think this will last for? Is it worth 3900?
Maybe I should spend a little more money for a car with less mileage that will last longer?
Tomorrow I'm going to have a mechanic do an inspection on it but I want some other opinions before I just buy it. THANKS!
Daniel
