We're in the middle of the state.....plenty high.....my place is on good, well drained soil and it never puddles for long here. But, when we get lots of rain, where the ground is soaked, decent gusts of winds like we're having, can uproot trees......and I've got plenty of trees! So that is my biggest concern, currently. That storm is hauling across the state right now, and actually it is probably in the Gulf of Mexico now......at 10:00 AM is was 30 miles or so NE of Tampa.

All good here! There are some big trees uprooted around Gainesville, some power lines are down (so I heard), but all said, we did pretty good. My place suffered no damage, other than some decent sized tree limbs down......and the yard is a mess.....again! Littered with tree debris again. I'm happy though!!

Hurricanes are the ONE thing I don’t miss from living in the Gulf Shores Alabama area. Well, that and the heat, humidity, flat land, work……….😁
Good to hear you and yours are safe and just dealing with yard clean up.
