It is coming fast my friend! Probably going to give my notice in July. I will wait a few years to file for SS as I am still only 62 y.o. currently. I will probably secure a Plans Examiner's job for a Private Provider locally, and do that from home for a couple of years, while still drawing and maybe a little bit of Contracting work as well......I have plenty of options......that don't involve manual labor!
I will also be catching up on some home maintenance, immediately after resigning from the City.

My big projects after retirement including painting the exterior of the Phoenix house, resurrecting my 1970 VW which had been "retired" for 23 years https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/vi...urrection+1970, installing wood and luxury vinyl flooring at both homes, and building a patio addition up north.

Between that and senior softball, and maintaining our 6 vehicles and 2 homes, keeping pretty busy. This morning I have the final tie rod end to install on my B2200, then my daughter is coming over for help with her 2013 Forester....

I was thinking that I'd never seen a B-truck that color before (mine is 1988 Caspian Blue semi-metallic), then noticed that original color was a white, then re-painted exterior blue. The body looks pretty decent though.

My blue

All the body panels are in great shape except for the Driver's door......it has a couple of rust spots......not sure why though, as it seems everything else is solid. Maybe a different door was used when the truck was painted (in 2004 or 2006....I believe). I made a master list of things I want to fix or change, as well as a parts list to do the work......most of the parts, I already have, but you already knew that!
