1990 Mazda B2600i Valve Seal Job
Hi Everyone,
I recently bought a 1990 Mazda B2600i 4x4. It began smoking pretty badly on takeoff and after idling. Motor seems to run strong, and when warm has plenty of power.
I am going to take a crack at replacing the valve seals.
Does anyone have any tips for doing this job? I specifically am interested in knowing how to turn the motor by hand, since the fan seems to be in the way of the crankshaft bolt. can someone let me know the steps to turn the motor by hand?
Thanks!

Thanks!
Yes I am going to do it without pulling the head. I have the Lisle magnetic valve spring keeper tool, and some new fel-pro valve stem seals. The compression reads good at 145 across. not bad for an engine with 218k
I am hoping it will take care of the puff of smoke after idling
