1999 B2500 Double Cab 4 x 4 Front Brake Callipers
I have an issue with my front nearside brake calliper jamming, and not releasing completely causing binding brakes.
I have been advised to replace both front brake callipers with new parts.
I really need the part number for the front brake callipers, because I am having trouble locating the parts here in the UK.
Any thoughts or ideas please?
Cheers

Then I doubt Ranger stuff would fit. Try searching using the American spelling: caliper

Hi,
I have found a solution to my problem.
We located a company called 'Brake Engineering' based in Wrexham, UK who are a brake system specialist.
Website: https://www.brake-eng.com/en/
This company not only manufactures brake parts, but also offers a refurbishment service as well.
In my case, they only have the new LH calliper in stock at the moment. So I am going for both callipers being refurbished.
This will take 7-10 days for the garage and the brake company to complete the work.
At least in this way, I can be sure that the existing callipers WILL fit back on the vehicle.
Vehicle is booked into the garage for 16th May for this work, so I'll keep you all posted.
Cheers Dave

I'm not sure how many US supply companies will ship internationally, but RockAuto.com has the rebuild kits for the Japanese calipers that were on the 1986 through 1993 Mazda B-Series trucks in the North American market ......there might be a good chance that your real Japanese 1999 B2500 Double Cab truck (that was never imported into North America) calipers are the same as the earlier model (B2000, B2200, & B2600) trucks.
If you could post some pictures of your trucks calipers, we may be able to confirm this! Let us know how it goes.

Hi folks,
Just a quick update on my braking issue.
Brake Engineering, Wrexham overhauled both of my calipers, and the local garage refitted them to the vehicle. I have only taken the truck for a short test run so far, but the braking system seems to be fine.
I paid about 200 pounds for the two calipers to be overhauled, which wasn't too bad for the work involved.
Thanks for the assistance
Cheers
