2000 B2500 problem

RE: 2000 B2500 problem
I have seen this problem in other cars. It sounds like the throttle plate is dirty and needs to be cleaned. You can buy air intake cleaner at about any auto parts store, you can use carb cleaner but it does not have a lubricant in it. Remove the air intake tube at the throttle body and clean the throttle plate on both sides. Make sure the engine is off! Use a rag to help get any stubborn grime off. Spray to clean and lube throttle linkage too.
