Default '86 b2000 compatable to '90 b2600?

Greetings all. I have a great running '90 b2600. I've had it for 5 years, bought it with 85K on it, now has 114K. Wisconsin winters and a deer have destroyed the body. I have a chance to buy an '86 b2000 for body parts, but want to make sure they are compatable. Thoughts and opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

Most body parts will be compatible with a 1990 B2600i, especially if the B2600i is 2 wheel drive. Grille, front parts will fit. The B2000 engine and transmission are definitely NOT bolt-ins. B2600i 4 WD fenders are definitely different.

Myself: I have a B2600i bubble hood on my 1988 B2200, bolted right on. I have stuff like a large console in my B2200 Cab Plus which came from a B2600 as well.
