92 b2200 newbie question

8 valves. They are called HLA's actually. (hydraulic lash adjuster) I have never bought any aftermarket so the dealer is the only way i have gotten them. They should be available aftermarket by now i would think.

mazda dealership is selling the lifters for $35 a piece! my god. that's steep. parts person also said there is only a single camshaft, and it must be removed, thus logically replacing timing belt and pulleys at the same time.

sounds like quite the cost for what i hoped was a minor, REASONABLY priced repair.

crazy eh?

no one carries them auto zone napa and from dealer they are 50 bucks a pop go on e-bay you can get all 8 for like 40 bucks it will save you alot of money..
