ABS light on
#2
The brake light has multiple functions: when parking brake is on, when level of fluid in the reservoir drops below the float level, and I believe when there's air in the brake system.
If this was my truck, I'd add a little brake fluid to the reservoir, and see if that makes light go off. If not, I'd bleed the brakes (all three bleeders), before I looked into ABS issues.
Last time my light came on, it was due to low fluid level, and when I investigated I found a leaky wheel cylinder.

The brake fluid is full and clean. There are no signs of leaks and he pedal feels good. The switch on the parking brake mechanism is intact and appears to be properly adjusted although it's actual ability to open or close circuit has not been tested yet.
Let's say I assume it's the ABS with a problem. Is the red "BRAKE" light designed to light up simultaneously along side of the orange "ABS" light when there's an ABS problem?
