Aftermarket cruise control b2000
Just purchased a great shape, 1987 B2000! I would like to add an aftermarket cruise control and will try to post my efforts here.
Anyone that has done this or would like to do this conversion, post your info/comments and let's see what we can accomplish!

I've done this. I added aftermarket Rostra cruise control (Rostra bought Audiovox and updated it some) into my own 1988 B2200. The Rostra CC is electrically operated so an improvement, and I also have one of those on my 2004 Frontier.
With stock carb, there's already an attachment place for the CC cable on the B2200. When I moved to a Weber carb on it, I did have to make some modifications like widening the Weber channel where the accelerator cable goes, as the CC cable then attaches to the accelerator cable. A decade later I moved that CC to my 1998 Frontier, but have some pictures somewhere of what I did with my Weber connections. The CC on the B2200 tapped into the negative terminal on the coil. And you'd want the Rostra universal unit, and I have the panel mount for it but there's also a stalk mount available.
