New to forum, contemplating putting a 351w in my 91 B2200.

That would be a hoss. I'm sure you know that you the differential will not hold up to that amount of power/weight. It takes money to do it right, lots of money. You will have to beef up the suspension among other things.

Thanks for the info Hixx. I have only two motors available that I can use and the sbf 351w will give me less headaches to install than the sbc 355 that I have. I don't plan to romp on it too soon as, I am not seeking power as of now; just a decent install however, I will beef it up as money becomes available in the future. I just want to get my project up and running then drop the $$$ in the suspension and rear end. I conducted a fitment and modification test of both blocks yesterday and, the 351 appeared to present the less install headaches. I have a Tremec for the 351w and a Turbo 350 for the sbc 355. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Have you started yet? All modification must be in front of the motor. Heater core is in the center of firewall, against it.
V6 is drop in fit, no modifications.
