B2200 electric fan conversion?
Can any of you members that have done this mod please give me some of your advice? I wish to delete the stock fan along with the belt and all associated pulleys plus make sure that I set up the sensors and wiring well. I have an aluminum radiator installed and I don't recall if it came already having a bung for a universal sensor. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Pictures would be bonus. Thanks.

You can use Volvo late 90s S70 electric fan, shroud, and all the relays and fuses. Here is the link to the fan switch I used. You will need to trim the shroud a bit, but it was really easy with a jigsaw. You also have to flip it upside down to fit. Here are some pictures with instructions:

Excellent. Thanks. I'm not sure that I can do exactly what you did since I have an aftermarket all aluminum radiator installed, but it is a definite consideration. Do you happen to have overall measurements (length and width) of the fan shroud? I'm sure it's going to be closed to what I have since the aftermarket radiator was vurtually an exact drop in.

I was at the junkyard today and there are some really good parts but I didn't have time to get them all. I plan on going back tomorrow but I need to take the dog to the vet first because of a tick. dang. I did get a Volvo fan and shroud with lots of wiring, relays, etc.
I'm interested in a 12-valve head but need to make sure that it will work on my 2.2L
Found '91 Mazda 626 with great parts. The head looks practically brand new. The previous owner must have recently put a rebuilt head on the car. I plan on trying to grab it along with the valve cover.
I also plan to grab the A\C compressor, brackets, pulleys and some hoses because I need this set-up in order to be able to convert the truck to a turbocharged set-up. I also plan on grabbing the dipstick and the dipstick tube since it is designed to be out of the way of the turbo. There's a truck in the yard that has some nice interior pieces also. Probably spending a couple hundred.
