Default B2600I 4x4 - 1993 - extended cab

Hi, Here is my problem.
WhenI drive it slowly there's still no problem, but when Isnap thefuel pedal harder than usual, the engine stalls like if i'm running out of fuel.
If the transmission is in neutral position and I snap the fuel pedal, the problem will not occur, that's only whenthe engine is in load.
Recently, the fuel pump andfuel filter have been replaced.
Sometimes, at idle, the engine misses for less than a second but never stalls.
I really don't know what to do with it. Can ithavesome humidity problem or is it something else? If someone can help me, it would be very appreciated. Thanks

James D.

Hi James and welcome.
I took the liberty toedit your post and hopefully captured what it is you are trying to ask/say.

I am not the best person to ask about these engines and their related fuel injection parts, however it sounds to me likethe problems you are experiencing are related to each other and are part of the fuel/emissions system.

1) Has anyone checked the spray pattern of the fuel injectors? Any FI vehicle that old might have clogged, or partially clogged injectors.
The only other suggestion(s) I have might be a sensor that sends info to the ECU to control the FI.
2) TheO2 sensor may bepast it's prime.
3) The throttle position (TP) switch may be out of adjustmentor needing to be replaced.
4) How about the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor?
5) Does this engine in this year have an EGR valve? When clogged with carbon build up, they cancause all kinds of running and idling problems... and that's a fairly easy fix if that it.You might either be able to remove and clean it out, or you must replace it if it's past that point.
6) Does the truck still have a catalytic converter? Could that be clogged, or clogging?

There are so many possibilities here that you may just have to go down a list and check each one till you find your trucks particular problem. With a vehicle that's 15-16 yrs old, you should expect a few of them, as well as needing to replace a few things.

Sorry James, I was not trying to offend, or make you feel bad.
I just felt that our members might read and understand your questions and be able to offer you better suggestions.
As I'd said, I hope I was able to capture the essence of what it was you were asking. If not, please feel free to re-edit your OP, or let me know and I will try again.
