I bought this truck with the head partially removed as it had blown the head gasket. All of that has been fixed and am trying to tune it. Truck had less than 1/4 tank of bad gas. I've since added 6 gallons of fresh gas. The problem is that when I pull the outflow line off the fuel filter, the truck runs well until the fuel runs out. When I try and start it with the fuel line connected, it won't fire. There is fuel pressure as I can see ample fuel being pumped when the line is off. Ideas?

 

B2600i - can't the distributor rotor actually fit three different ways, and only one is correct??? Maybe check that.

 

It's timed correctly. I've checked it a couple of times. Plus when fuel line is removed from the filter, it runs great.
