B2600i lack of acceleration, low idle
Hey everybody, I have a 1992 b2600i with 115,000 miles on it. About a week ago, i was heading to work on the freeway and it became difficult to accelerate. Pulled over, shut the engine off and started it back up. Everything was fine. A couple days later same thing happened, except it seemed like the problem worsened and restarting the vehicle doesnt help. Ive checked ignition, timing, replaced fuel filter (long over due) check fuel pressure, replaced spark plugs and checked that they are firing, i replaced the ecm about a month ago with a remanufactured one, check MAS. Checked ohms on fuel injectors, performed a hot soak with seafoam. I had it in the shop back in October and they said fuel pump is getting power and the injectors were working properly. Not sure where to go from here. Any ideas??

I have not checked back pressure. I just recently had a new exhaust put on starting at the cat though. Figured the shop would have checked the cat ou . Is there anyway to test the MAF connector?

Wow that sounds like mine, seems to do ok cold but once warm, as soon as it gets around 2500-3000 and throttle she falls flat on power, upshift with little throttle and I can get her slowly up to about 50-55 max...reminds of when my quadra toilet would vapor lock before I got a heat spacer...also similar to the old vacuum style advance distributors when the hose would fall off and the timing would not advance as the engine revd...love a truck...if it was not pops (RIP) old truck...might just give up...shame though, its in perfect shape...
