clutch/tranny grind question
i own a 1989 b2600. I have adjusted the clutch to specs. When i shift i hear clucks, and going into 2nd and 3rd it grinds a little bit. Could it be my clutch, maybe slave cylinder. I know the disengagment length is like 2.8 inches. But i drove another mazda and the clutch disengaged at the top of pedal travel, mine is all the way at the bottom? is that right? should i bleed the system? Could my clutch be bad or is it my tranny, because it doesnt grind all the time, is intermittent. Thanks. My tranny fluid is good also. and my haydraulic fluid is good.

RE: clutch/tranny grind question
try bleeding the system, check adjustments. check that the disengagement heightfrom the upper suface of the pedal height to the carpet is correctwhen the pedal is fully depressed, the disengagement height should be on the b2600 2.80 inches (71mm)
