Default 03 B2300 Coolant Leak

Howdy folks!

I'm brand new here, and a bit of a neophyte when it comes to self-repair, but I've had enough EXP to be confident in diagnosing/fixing this issue with a little bit of guidance from folks with a bit more season.

I've got an 03 B2300 that's leaking coolant when there's pressure. The leak is coming from a hose leading from the heater control valve into the engine block (can update w/photos)

Seems pretty straightfoward, right? Pull the hose off, replace it, see if the issue persists. Any other potential hiccups I should be aware of? Thanks so much for taking the time to respond

Seems like a good time to drain and replace the coolant too. Use a good quality replacement hose, not a cheapie. Fine to cut off the bad hose, especially if it attaches to a plastic outlet/fitting. Some factory clamps are a hassle, consider getting new, better clamps. And when filling the system with 50/50 coolant, you'll need to bleed ALL the air out of the cooling system.

Many systems will only leak when there's pressure, so good job pinpointing the leak.
