Default External Electric Oil Pump - 1993 Mazda B2600i - Engineering Questions

Hi,

I will install an external electric oil pump on my B2600. I've found that the rocker arm oil pressure is not adequate. Has anyone had any experience with oil pumps.

I've referenced:

Pumps. Stewart, Harry L. Theodore Audel & CO. A division of Howard W. Sams & Co,. Inc. Third Edition. 1977. 0-672-23292-8

Rotary and centrifugal pump theory and design. Worthington Pump Corporation. 1971

Are the effects on the shaft seal of a rotary gear pump during the short term warm up duration due to the high viscosity negligible or worthy of installing a seal flush line?

What are the typical oil flow rates for a engine? (GPM)

Where can I obtain a suitable oil pressure regulator?

Thanks,
Goatman
