Fuel Pressure Regulator Leaking From Vacuum Tube
G'day,
My 1998 B2600 starts ok but stalls after a few seconds. I think the diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) is cracked. I removed the vacuum tube, started the fuel pump, and saw gas poured out. I know the engine oil and filter need changing because they're contaminated with gas. Will the FPR vacuum hoses and solenoid valve be damaged? What else should I do?
Cheers!

So, just to make sure......the vacuum tube that you removed is the smallest tube that is connected to the FPR.....correct? If so, you can replace the vacuum hose, but it is probably still OK to use.
What solenoid valve are you referring to?

Thanks for replying. That's the one. It's only short and goes to a solenoid valve. I guess it's purpose is to control the vacuum pressure. Another hose goes from the valve to the manifold. Both hoses have color stripes on them.
Yeah, I was thinking just remove the hoses and dry them out. I'm more worried about damage to the valve. Also, I don't know what else could have been contaminated.
Cheers!
