Also, does anyone know how much is a carburetor for this truck? and where could i find one?

Thanks in advance.

on mine the in tank fuel pump goes to the fuel filter that is rite beside the tank "that is stock" and then there is a cut off valve it goes into before it heads up to the engine bay where it goes into another fuel filter "not sure it's stock" before entering the carb. in the tank there is also a filter on the end of the fuel pump

My fuel pump on my 88 B2600 went south twice before the truck had 35K miles on it. The second time I left the old pump in place and just plumbed in a $30 off the shelf Purolator electric fuel pump right next to the fuel filter. The new fuel pump just sucks gas through the old in-tank pump without any problems. The truck now has 230K on it and I've never has a problem with the $30 fuel pump that I added over 20 years ago.

Hope it helps --
