Fuel Pump Pigtail B2600I
Hello,
I have the following problem and you might just be the people to solve it. I have a 91 b2600I that I was changing the fuel pump in today and pulled the wires out of the pig tail that attaches to the wiring harness. Please bear with me on this I am not trying to be long winded.
The connector on the tank side has six holes and five wires. Two black, one Red, one black with white strip, and one black with blue/gray strip. These are the wires that attach to the top of the fuel assembly that goes into the tank. I know the red wire goes to the fuel gauge. What order so the other wires go in? I also know that the two black are ground and the two with strips are hot and go to the pump. I do not know where to place then in the plug. Help would be appreciated.
The Male end of the connector has five wires also and a dummy hole in the center bottom. It has a yellow wire top center, then black wires with red circles on one side top and bootom and on the other side black wires with red strips top and bottom.
My truck is a extended cab 4x4 91 model 2600i
Sincerely,
Marty
