Easy fix if its apart
If you take the face of the gauge cluster off you can reset your gauge by turning your key off , with your finger set the gauge as close 0 or the begining of the gauges cycle, mine was c or cold for the temp gauge. The fuel and the alternator gauge came back on there own I didn't play with the gauge needles . With all that said you zero out the needle and turn the key on and see if its near 0 or normal . If not turn the key off and try again it may take a few tries , just remember to turn the key off between each try . This works ! Actually the hardest part is taking the dash apart at least the most time consuming . This worked on my 2002 mazda b3000 ds . Not sure if its the same on all these trucks but It worked on mine ! Hopefully this helps some one, If I'm wrong some please correct me .
