I Want to swap a 91 2x4 Mazda b2200 long bed into 4x4
Is there a difference on the frames of the 2x4 and 4x4 b2200? I have a 4.0 i6 amc 242 that I want to put in it and put Toyota diff in the front and rear
Any advice on how I should build it would definitely be appreciated
im new to cars and trying to go off-roading by next year so I’m trying to get this truck ready

Welcome!
Yes, there are differences with the frames between the 2x4 and the 4x4 Mazda trucks.......that said, if you have some mechanical abilities, and a welder, you can probably make it happen. BUT.......it might be way easier to find a B2600i 4x4 that needs some TLC, and go that route. You have time to save up some cash, and travel to an area of the country where they are more prevalent when it's time to purchase one. That would be the way that I would go about it anyway. I know that Oregon & Washington state has their share of these trucks.......California, Georgia, Alabama.......are all good places to look as well. You may be able to find some in Texas also. Check out Facebook marketplace, and Craigslist, in those areas to see what's out there.
Keep us posted on what you find......there could be members on here that could help you look for one, in their areas also.

The ad on this 1987 B2600 (this has a carbureted Mitsubishi 2.6 engine in it......1987 & 88 were like this) is classic!
"If you are looking for a ***** to the wall, panty dropping, road dome getting mini truck this is the one for you! No need to compensate with a jack up full size with the hog you are packing. Grow out that mullet blast some white snake and get that girl you’ve been chasing, hell you might pull her momma too."
