Default Loss of power B2200

I have an '87 B2200 that has just started losing power past 30 mph. First I changed the fuel filter. Then I replace the plugs, distributor cap, and rotor button. Finally I pulled the catalytic converter off and knocked all the junk out. The truck still has no power. What else can I do?

Default RE: Loss of power B2200

It has 2 converters, one directly connected to the exhaust manifold and one after that. The carb on those have an air/fuel solonoid (basicly an injector) going through the top of the carb that commonly goes bad. It has 2 healthy wires running to it. If it is an automatic trans truck then it has an electric fuel pump in the tank that might not be putting out enough. Creating an exhaust leak before the converters should tell you if it is an exhaust restriction however you should be hearing a strange vacuum cleaner type sound on heavy accel if it is restricted. Thje ignition coil could be worn out if it is original. 100k miles is basicly when it should be replaced.
