Hi Guys, need help with this, truck runs fine until we have a warm day 20c ish, then pinks under load, when coming off throttle and back on, like over fuelling.
During winter no such issues, so suspected a thermal fault on a sensor.
Currently capturing live data from MAF EGR vs RPM
and Speed and seeing fluctuations in EGR from like 85% to 0 and back again at a constant speed, and corresponding changes in the MAF, events last 1 or 2 secs, but can be in multiple event sequences.
Need to see a sample from a good truck, I think.
This is whats been checked - cleaned or replaced :-
injectors ( worn out ) EGR replaced with a donor / inlet manifold / vac system & solenoids / MAP / MAF replaced.
ECU reset procedure, every time a replacement has occurred also.
