Is my transmission toast?

Is my transmission toast?
Hello all. Gonna try and keep it short and concise. Picked up a 93 b2600 manual transmission 2wd about a month ago, drove it home 2 hours with no issues at all. While driving home one day I was having issues getting it into first, within 10 minutes i couldn't get it into any gear. At this point i have to push to manually push it off to the side of the road. While pushing it off to the side of the road, i FORCE it into gear successfully. I put into N and come to a stop and the shift linkage separates from the shift rod. At the time i didn't know that, that is what happened. I try and start up the truck, while its cranking and it starts to drive/move itself in reverse with the clutch in?? I get it towed home. While the vehicle is being loaded onto the tow trucks the rear wheels were locked up and would not spin freely.
Highlighted in the diagram are the components that had separated. If i'm understanding correctly, the shift rod should move freely. Mine moves minimally and i am unable to reassemble the shifter linkage because of this. I also have come to believe that the slave cylinder was leaking, when i checked i believe it was very clearly leaking fluid, hence not being able to put in gear.
With all of this said i have come to two conclusions. My transmission is stuck in gear and the internals are toast. Can someone confirm this?

Welcome to the forum.
In all likelihood.....when you first started having issues getting the truck into a gear......the slave or master cylinder was on it's/their way out and probably the reason you couldn't get the transmission into a gear. Typically, the B2600i manual transmission is a very good/strong transmission......but the clutch master cylinder and their slave cylinders are the weak link......you will replace them more than once if you own a Mazda B truck any length of time.
I would see if it can be repaired myself......if there are no gears or synchronizers worn too bad. Got any pictures of the trans and/or parts that are removed yet?

I'd like to just swap in a used transmission. No pictures, haven't dropped it yet, i unfortunately don't have a space to work on it so it's on the street. What do you think about the bit about cranking the truck over and it driving itself backwards with the clutch in and brake pressed, what does that indicate to you? Haven't been able to find any similar experiences shared online. Trying to rule out what is likely causing this and why i can't move the shifter rod freely. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

If the clutch slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder is/are bad, then pushing the clutch pedal IN is NOT going to disengage the clutch. I am fairly confident that one of the two are bad, or both, from your experience while driving the truck last. So, the truck's transmission is just in reverse gear right now, and pushing in the clutch pedal is not going to disengage the engine from the transmission.......until you replace the slave and/or master clutch cylinder(s). I seriously doubt that you've "ruined" your transmission.

On another note the spring pin that holds in the "End Control Lever" slips out everytime i try to reassembling the shifter. The diagram above is for a b2200. Can i swap out for the locking nut in the diagram? Are they interchangeable?

Are you referring to part # 17-313C in your diagram above?
