Needing parts advice
Hey folk
I'm completely new here. I have a 1993 b2000 and have also been the proud owner of a 1994 b2200 which I wish I never got rid of!
anyway, parts are getting more difficult to find. I need a front silencer exhaust section for my b2000 but can't find anything online except for b2200 front silencers . Are these interchangeable between the 2 models , like are they the same part? The webpage lists them separately with the B2000 one being "limited stock, please enquire" which frustrates the hell out of me when they do that , and the b2200 being there to buy.

First of all, the 93 model year is a different generation than the 94 so the parts may not be interchangeable. Furthermore, you say you have a 93 B2000 and a 94 B2200. That cant be correct because in 93, it was either the 2200 or the 2600, and in 94 it was the 2300, 3000 or 4000.
You might have better luck at getting a valid answer if your initial info is correct. But, I could be wrong too. Maybe things are different with the model years in UK produced B trucks

I had a B2200 then Sold it. Now I've got a B2000. Yes the b2200 was an M reg which is 1994. The b2000 is an L reg which in UK means 1993
Thanks for the reply though. Hope that extra info may help

Or, you might be able to make something up with by combining various parts. I happened to do that with my 90 B2200 just because I'm a tightwad with money sometimes. I used a flex union and a reducer to fabricate a repair rather than buying a whole new pipe and muffler / converter assembly.

A previous owner of my B2200 had cut the flange off of the front part that connects to the front converter and had also omitted the rear converter. To replace the front part alone and get the flange back would have been over $200. Then probably $200 more for the pipe with converter for OEM stuff. Anyway, for about $70 total I was able to get reducing coupler, flex connector, extension pipe, aftermarket universal converter, clamps and hangers.

Cut that front box which is almost directly under the gear stick out , as my old exhaust has rotten through the weld in front of the box . Ive pipe to connect to at both ends and I'll replace the box with a 12" length of Flexi hose that I can get on eBay delivered for a tenner. I'm not sure if it will make the pickup louder but I'm hopeful it'll be all good or at least bearable!
1³/⁴" / 44mm internal exhaust diameter for anyone searching
Thanks again for the help . I'll be happy to return the kindness on this forum in future
