Default OIL PAN ON A 89 B2200

In 1989 I bought 2 B2200 trucks for business and they worked out fine. I am now
retired living at the beach and still have one of the trucks with 266K miles on the
odomiter. The other truck I retired at over 275K miles. My problem is often the
tides come in and flood the only road between the beach and civilization. As a
result the oil pan on my truck is rusting through and i must replace it. I have had
water in the truck from high water and have cranked the torsion bars to give the
front end more clearence.
My question is to replace the oil pan i must remove the chanel crossmember, is
there going to be any twist on the crossmember from the torsion bars that will
complicate bolt hole alignment on reassembly?
Thank you for any advice you can give. Cecil P

you should be fine. if you notice you have square tube frame rails and the wont move enough to even screw with the bolts. i have a small block 350 chevy in my truck and built a custom crossmember and had to twist up torsion bars and never had problems.
Good Luck.
