Questions On Motor
Hi all.
I have a '98 B2500, 2.5L, manual trans., fuel injected (via throttle body). This motor has 8 spark plugs, and I know why they did that, but I wonder if anyone has the same problems I am having with it. It is sputtering and lagging, and sometimes backfiring when starting from a stop. Also, it is predetonating and pinging at lower RPM, and this is worse the higher the ambient temperature. Anyone else having this problem? Is there an easy explanation and fix? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
