Quick belt question 92 B-2200!
Hi guys!
So there is three belts on a 1992 B-series truck. My middle belt has a lot of wear and cracks. What belt is that? Power steering and alternator or ac? I called a shop they're $16 each. I just need to know what that middle belt controls!!
Would changing the middle belt be tricky? It doesn't look too bad ..
Truck is a 1992, 5 speed, real wheel drive, extended cab 2.2 litre model.

I don't have the same truck so I can't simply say yes or no.
With the diagrams in the link and your sharp eye you will be able to tell. Position yourself over the pulleys so you can see the PS pully and the crankshaft pulley at the same time. Aim over the PS pulley and see if it lines up with the middle groove. A ruler might help too and you could just try to put a belt on.

I have a 1988 B2200. The outer belt of the three is power steering, the middle is alternator and fan, and inner is AC.
The inner and outer have bolt-type adjustments, but for the alternator it's a "rotate alterator to make farther away from pulley" type, then tighten. So you may need a helper and a broom handle as someone pries and you tighten the bolts to do that one.
