I change spark plugs and wires rotor button and cap and gap the spark plugs. It wasn’t idling rough before I change wires and plugs. Any suggestions?

Suggestion : this was caused by something you did !!!! Just why did you make these changes?

Did you change the spark wires ONE AT A TIME ????

DID YOU CHECK THE GAP ON THE SPARK PLUGS ??? 0.028 - 0.033 inches
Are the wires pushed FIRMLY onto the spark plug ends? And firmly into the distributor cap? Did the new rotor and distributor cap visually look identical to the existing ones?

Change the rotor back to original, see if any difference.

Change the cap back to original, see if any difference.

Did you knock off or break a vacuum hose?

Weber carburetor or factory one?

Anything else you did and didn't include in your post?

  • Changed wires one at a time
  • .032 spark plug gap
  • checked wires and cap and rotor button
  • factory carb
  • I will check vac hoses and switch back original cap/rotor to see if there is a difference
